Macromedia blogs: ColdFusion or Movable Type?

A blogger at Macromedia blogs recently posted on the latest Digg soap opera.

Since I notice odd things, I noticed how the URL (http://weblogs.macromedia.com/jd/archives/2006/11/necessary_opaci.cfm) would seem to indicate that the tech behind the blog was ColdFusion based … the .cfm. But the trackback address (http://weblogs.macromedia.com/mtadmin/mt-tb.cgi/8007) is obviously Movable Type, which of course is written in Perl.

Interesting.

(Perhaps only to me.)
