There Are Now 8.9 Million Mobile Apps, And China Is 40% Of Mobile App Spending

The total number of mobile apps on the planet has now reached a massive 8.93 million, according to a new report from RiskIQ. Interestingly, neither Google Play, the most important app store for Android, nor Apple’s App Store had the most new apps last year.

Why?

Because the Chinese mobile market now accounts for 40% of app spending, according to RiskIQ.
