“Nawlins” has perhaps the most distinctive architecture of any city in North America. It’s wonderfully dilapidated in spots, and somehow that just fits, and wouldn’t be right any other way.
I saw this particular building on a walk in the French Quarter, a couple of blocks from Bourbon street. Probably someone will pick it up and refurbish it, and it’ll have another hundred years of life as a grand old home in one of America’s most interesting cities.
