Why this site exists

I’m on this spinning rocky ball for a reason – a purpose. And so are you.

My goal in creating this blog is to fulfill that purpose – and to help you fulfill yours.

I’m a Christian. That means I believe that God exists, and that He loves people. The Bible says that He, your Creator, wants a relationship with you. That means a lot of things, and if you’re a Christian, you know that already.

If you’re not, then I hope that this site can help you discover those things. I not only hope that, I pray that.

A quick note about me

As I said above, I’m a Christian. But that doesn’t mean that I’m perfect. And it especially doesn’t mean that I think that I’m better than you, if you’re not a Christian.

Quite the opposite, in fact.

I’m a flawed human being with my fair share of problems. I don’t want anything I write on this site to present a different view of me. A true Christian is not self-righteous or proud. A true Christian is humble and considers others better than himself. That’s the goal. I don’t always achieve it.

But I also won’t shy away from speaking what I believe to be truth. And I happen to have this funky old-fashioned belief that God revealed Himself to us in an ancient book we call the Bible.

The Bible says the he who seeks, will find, and that he who knocks will have the door opened to him.

Seek. Knock.

You will find!
