AGLT: First Pure-Play Humanoid Robot Company Starts Trading On Nasdaq Today

Hey, guess what? There’s a brand new player hitting the Nasdaq, and it’s straight out of a sci-fi movie! Agility Robotics, the brilliant minds behind the Digit humanoid robot, just went public under the ticker AGLT. This isn’t just any IPO; they’re the very first U.S.-listed company solely focused on humanoid robots that are actually out there, doing paid work in real customer facilities. Thanks to a SPAC merger and some serious investor interest, they’ve pulled in a cool $465 million to fuel their robot revolution.

So, what’s the big deal with their robots? Meet Digit 5, set to officially launch in early 2027, and it sounds like a game-changer. The coolest part? Unlike older industrial robots, Digit 5 can roam around outside those restrictive safety cages, making it super flexible. Imagine a robot that can tackle different tasks in various parts of a facility all day long! Plus, it’s pretty efficient: after a solid 90 minutes of work, it only needs a lightning-fast 9-minute charge. Oh, and it can swap out its “hands” for different jobs and repeatedly lift a hefty 50 pounds. Pretty impressive, right?

It’s not just hype, either. Agility Robotics already has over $300 million in committed multi-year orders from big names like GXO, Schaeffler, and Toyota, with more than 30 other potential customers lining up. They’ve also racked up an incredible 65,000+ hours of real-world operational data, proving their robots aren’t just lab curiosities. And to keep up with demand, their RoboFab facility in Oregon is a powerhouse, capable of churning out up to 10,000 robots every single year. Looks like our future might be a lot more robotic than we thought, and Agility is leading the charge!
