TikTok Just Lost 200 Million Users


Privacy matters, and now every app publisher knows it.

National pride and international relations also matter. And now every app publisher knows that as well.

India banned TikTok and 58 other apps yesterday. Today, TikTok users in India trying to use the service weren’t able to watch any fun videos. Instead, they got this message: “Dear users, we are in the process of complying with the Government of India’s directive to block 59 apps. Ensuring the privacy and security of all our users in India remains our utmost priority.”
