Apple launched the new MacBook Air 2020 today, saying that the world’s best-selling 13” notebook will be the first Mac laptop, along with the MacBook Pro, to have the new Apple M1 chip. The M1 chip replaces Intel CPUs at the heart of the Mac for the first time.
Starting at $999, the new MacBook Air is 3.5X faster than previous generation, Apple says, and has the world’s fastest integrated graphics for up to 5X faster graphics performance.
