Late last year I applied and was accepted to the University of British Columbia’s Master of Educational Technology (MET) program.
It’s a mostly-online course that is related to my work – part of which includes leading a team that designs and builds learning environments – and it’s a interesting, hot topic: the use of technology in teaching and learning.
I figured that since I had gotten my BA at Simon Fraser University (the other big university in British Columbia) I might as well do this at UBC.
But it’ll be my first time “in school” in more than a decade, so this should be interesting. More details as I learning them ….
